Eight theses successfully defended in spring 2026
Eight students working with CF BioData successfully defended their theses in spring 2026.
At the Faculty of Informatics, four master's theses were successfully defended. Filip Fábry worked on “Comparison of data management systems for research data”, Michal Mikuš on “Web Search Component for Dynamic Metadata-Based Search and Filtering”, and Daniel Kříž on “Refactoring Mol Volumes & Segmentations 2.0 into a Standalone Library”*.
Four bachelor's theses were also successfully defended at the Faculty of Informatics. Oliver Blščák worked on “Visualization and Analytics Components for Molecular Dynamics Data Repository”, Filip Krása on “Virtual Research Environment for Molecular Dynamics Simulation Experiments”, Matej Barna on “Implementation of unattended mode and optimization of DAREG Lab Client”, and Mario Mičulka on “Design and implementation of a new version of 2DProts database web pages”.
At the Faculty of Science, Kateřina Nazarčuková defended her master's thesis “Predicted 3D structures as a source of potential novel sugar-interacting proteins”.
