Our contributin to the Open Science II conference
The conference for the Open Science II project, part of the Czech implementation of the European EOSC initiative, took place on May 25–26. The conference focused on research data, the creation of repositories, and the sharing of information and experiences not only among project participants but also within the broader EOSC CZ community and the wider academic community. The program includes thematic lectures and international panel discussions, as well as “hands-on” workshops for repository creators. The main goal is to familiarise participants with the interim outputs of the Open Science II project and to provide opportunities for exchanging experiences and gaining practical information on repository creation.
Our colleague Adrián Rošinec participated in a panel discussion titled “Building Repositories in Practice: Experiences and Challenges.” During this discussion, he shared his experiences with creating the BioSim CZ repository for molecular simulations and also outlined the current status of developing additional repositories at Masaryk University.
